The required text for this course is: "Physics, Fifth Edition" by John D. Cutnell and Kenneth W. Johnson, Copyright 2001 by John Wiley & Sons, ISBN 0-471-32146-X The same text will be used for PHYS 25 in the spring.

The text is available at the UOP bookstore for $115.95 each. That sounds like an awful lot to me, but I checked www.barnesandnoble.com and it is $119.75 there, and www.amazon.com and it is $161.25 there.. So unless you can find a used version (MUST be 5th edition) then I think your best deal is the UOP bookstore.
